During professional engagements, JSL may receive business records that contain personal information, including information held in CRM, ERP, accounting, employee, customer, supplier, project, operational, support and migration records. JSL will handle such information in accordance with the applicable engagement, confidentiality obligations and reasonable security controls.

8. Sensitive Information

Users should not submit sensitive personal information through ordinary public forms unless it is genuinely necessary, specifically requested by JSL and an appropriate method of transmission has been agreed. JSL may delete unsolicited sensitive information that is not required for a legitimate purpose.

9. Information Collected Automatically

When you use JSL's website or digital services, limited technical information may be processed automatically, including IP address, browser and device information, operating system, requested pages, date and time of access, referring website, session identifiers, error information, security logs and performance data.

Such information may be used for website operation, cybersecurity, abuse prevention, diagnostics, analytics, troubleshooting, capacity planning and service improvement.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

JSL's website may use cookies, session technologies and similar mechanisms for security, authentication, user preferences, website functionality, forms and analytics. Some technologies may be necessary for the website to function properly. Browser controls may allow users to restrict or remove cookies, but doing so can affect functionality.

11. Analytics and Measurement

Where analytics are configured, JSL may process information concerning page views, traffic source, session duration, approximate geographical region, device category, browser and navigation behaviour to understand website performance and improve the customer experience.

12. Purposes for Processing Information

JSL may use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange consultations, process demo requests, provision approved demos, prepare proposals and quotations, evaluate project requirements, perform contracts, provide services and support, manage relationships, maintain administrative and accounting records, secure infrastructure, prevent fraud and misuse, maintain logs and backups, improve services, communicate about relevant business matters, comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

13. JSL Demo Centre

Information submitted through the JSL Demo Centre may be used to identify and verify the requesting organization, understand business requirements, select a suitable demonstration environment, contact the requester, approve or decline access, provision temporary access, manage credentials, protect infrastructure and follow up concerning implementation services.

Demo access is reviewed by JSL and is not automatic. Approved prospect-specific environments may normally remain available for up to 30 days unless JSL specifies another evaluation period.

14. Demo Data Restrictions

Users should not upload live confidential, sensitive, production, payment-card, health, credential or other high-risk data into a demonstration environment unless JSL has specifically authorized this in writing. Demo environments should be treated as non-production evaluation systems.

15. Consultation and Sales Enquiries

Information submitted for consultations, quotations or sales enquiries may be used to understand requirements, arrange meetings, assign appropriate personnel, prepare commercial documents and maintain follow-up records.

16. Marketing and Business Communications

Where permitted, JSL may send information concerning services, technology solutions, demonstrations, events or relevant business developments. Recipients may request to stop optional marketing messages. Necessary contractual, security, transactional or service communications may still be sent.

17. JSL Does Not Sell Personal Information

JSL does not sell personal information as a commercial product.

18. Service Providers

JSL may use reputable service providers for cloud infrastructure, hosting, ERP platforms, email, communications, analytics, cybersecurity, backups, accounting, project management, artificial intelligence and related operational services. Information disclosed to a provider should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service.

19. Professional Advisers

Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, cybersecurity professionals and other advisers subject to appropriate duties or arrangements.

20. Legal and Regulatory Disclosure

JSL may disclose information where reasonably believed necessary to comply with applicable law, court process or regulatory requirements; investigate fraud or cybersecurity incidents; protect legal rights; protect persons or systems; or respond to a lawful request from an authorized public body.

21. Corporate Transactions

Relevant information may be disclosed under appropriate safeguards in connection with a genuine merger, investment, financing, restructuring, acquisition, sale or similar transaction involving JSL.

22. International and Cloud Processing

Some software, cloud, hosting, communication or technology providers used by JSL may operate infrastructure outside Trinidad and Tobago. JSL therefore does not represent that all information is physically stored in Trinidad and Tobago. JSL seeks to use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service concerned.

23. Information Security

JSL uses reasonable administrative, organizational and technical measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, destruction, alteration and misuse. Measures may include access controls, authentication, password controls, encrypted communications, restricted administration, role-based permissions, logging, backups, network controls, security monitoring and secure configuration practices.

No electronic system or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

24. Security Incidents

If JSL becomes aware of an information-security incident, JSL may investigate and contain the incident, preserve relevant evidence, restore systems, engage professional advisers, communicate with affected clients or persons, make legally required notifications and take corrective action appropriate to the circumstances.

25. User Security Responsibilities

Users are responsible for protecting credentials, maintaining appropriate security over their devices, using JSL systems only as authorized, avoiding credential sharing and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access or compromise.

26. Retention

JSL retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary considering the purpose of collection, the client relationship, contractual obligations, accounting and tax requirements, security and audit needs, legal requirements, dispute resolution and applicable limitation periods. Different categories may have different retention periods.

27. Demo Retention and Deletion

Prospect-specific demo environments are temporary. Following expiry they may be suspended, reset, archived, anonymized or permanently deleted. Security and audit logs may be retained separately where reasonably necessary.

28. Backups

Deleted information may temporarily remain in controlled backups until those backups rotate through normal retention cycles. Backups are not ordinarily restored solely to recover an individually deleted item.

29. Accuracy and Data Quality

JSL seeks to maintain information that is reasonably accurate, relevant and appropriate for its intended purpose. Individuals and clients should inform JSL when material information supplied to us changes.

30. Privacy Requests

Subject to applicable law, contractual duties and reasonable identity verification, an individual may contact JSL concerning access, correction, updating, deletion, marketing preferences or questions about JSL's use of personal information.

Requests should be sent to info@jslsolutionstt.com.

31. Identity and Authority Verification

JSL may require reasonable evidence of identity or authority before disclosing, modifying or deleting personal information. This protects information from unauthorized disclosure or manipulation.

32. Requests That Cannot Be Fulfilled

JSL may be unable to comply fully with a request where information must be retained for legal, accounting, taxation, contractual, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution or other legitimate requirements, or where fulfilling the request would adversely affect the rights of another person.

33. Artificial Intelligence and Automation

JSL may use AI-enabled technologies to assist with document analysis, classification, workflow automation, drafting, technical support and business analysis. JSL seeks to apply appropriate human oversight. Users should not provide highly sensitive information to AI-enabled functionality unless specifically authorized.

34. Automated Decisions

JSL does not intend ordinary website or Demo Centre automation to make final decisions having significant legal effects on individuals without appropriate human involvement. For example, Demo Centre requests are reviewed before provisioning.

35. Third-Party Websites

JSL may link to third-party websites or platforms. JSL does not control the privacy, security or content practices of independent third parties. Users should review those parties' policies before supplying information.

38. Changes to This Policy

JSL may amend this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, security, business practices or JSL services. The current version will be published on this page with its effective or updated date.

39. Governing Framework

This Policy is intended to be interpreted consistently with applicable laws of Trinidad and Tobago. References to legislation include amendments, replacements and re-enactments where applicable.
